FindStackAI (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates findstackai.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a visitor.

Information We Collect

Analytics data

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 collects anonymized data including pages visited, session duration, geographic region (country/city level), and browser type. We do not use this data to identify individuals. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Newsletter subscriptions

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. We use this solely to send you the newsletter you signed up for. We do not sell or share your email with third parties. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any newsletter email or at findstackai.com/unsubscribe.

Outbound click tracking

When you click a “Visit” or “Try” button, your click passes through our redirect at /go/[tool] before sending you to the tool’s website. We log the tool clicked, your approximate country (from your IP address), and whether the click appears automated. We do not log your full IP address. This data is used to measure interest in tools and to fulfil affiliate program requirements.

Affiliate tracking (Impact.com)

We participate in affiliate programs managed through Impact.com. Impact may set cookies on your browser to attribute referrals. Their privacy policy is at impact.com/privacy-policy. You can opt out of Interest-Based Advertising via optout.aboutads.info.

Cookies

FindStackAI uses the following cookies:

  • Google Analytics: Session and attribution cookies (_ga, _gid, _ga_*). Duration: up to 2 years. Purpose: analytics.
  • Impact.com: Referral attribution cookies. Duration: varies by program (typically 30-90 days). Purpose: affiliate tracking.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.

How We Use Your Data

  • To improve the site and understand which content is most useful
  • To send the newsletter you opted into
  • To measure affiliate program performance
  • To detect and prevent abuse (spam subscriptions, bot traffic)

Data Sharing

We share data only with:

  • Google — analytics data via GA4
  • Impact.com — affiliate click/conversion data
  • Our newsletter provider — your email for delivery
  • Vercel — hosting infrastructure (logs site activity)

We do not sell personal data to any third party.

If you are in the EEA or UK, you have rights under GDPR. If you are in California, you have rights under CCPA. We process minimal personal data and aim to comply with applicable privacy laws.

Data Retention

GA4 data is retained for 14 months (Google default). Newsletter emails are retained until you unsubscribe. Click logs are retained for 90 days.

Children’s Privacy

FindStackAI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted at the top with a new effective date.
